Agriculture generates some 22 million jobs in the United States, and most are located off of farms. Fewer than 2 million Americans are actively engaged in farming. Today's farmers are efficient enough to produce 16% of the world's food supply. 

Today’s agriculture offers over 200 rewarding and challenging careers. Agricultural careers may be divided into various categories. These include: Agribusiness Management, Agricultural and Natural Resources Communications, Building Construction Management, Parks Recreation and Tourism Resources, Packaging, Horticulture, Forestry, Food Science, and Fisheries/Wildlife, to name a few.
